The hugely talented 18-year-old has been a target for several Premier League clubs but it looks like Spurs have won the race to sign him.
Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour said: "Dele Alli is completing his medical with a view to completing a £5m move.
"He will immediately be loaned back to MK Dons for the remainder of the season.
"What are Tottenham getting in Dele Alli? With 12 goals this season, he has scored more times from midfield than any other player in English football's top four tiers.
"This one is edging ever closer."
