The Brazilian international is currently on the books of Mexican side Queretaro, having joined them in September after previously being linked with the Angolan outfit.
The 34-year-old now looks set to follow in Rivaldo’s footsteps and sign for Kabuscorp when the Mexican season ends later this year.
Kabuscorp president Benedict Kangamba told Public Television Angola (PTA): "It's a certainty. We are negotiating, but Ronaldinho has to terminate the contract with his current club, and then be able to join us in June.
"You may ask why I picked Ronaldinho - well, I want quality in my squad."
Ronaldinho has a large collection of medals, winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Barcelona and the Serie A title with AC Milan, as well as playing a key role in Brazil’s 2002 World Cup triumph.
