Gerard Pique has charged his team-mates to focus their attention quickly to their Champions League clash with Manchester City.

The Catalans' recent superb run of from was brought to a shock end by Malaga on Saturday as they secured a 1-0 win at Camp Nou.

Barca now turn their attentions to a first leg with Manchester City in Europe's top competition in the coming week and Pique is eager for his team-mates to focus quickly on the trip to the Etihad.

"It was one of those where we just couldn't find the goal. But we have to turn the page because, on Tuesday, we play the most important game of the year," he told reporters after the match.

"The team are on track and we can't let this defeat get us down. All teams will lose points. We have to look at how we can get ahead."

City destroyed Newcastle on Saturday with a 5-0 win but, rather than fear the English champions' attack, Pique feels more attack-minded opponents could be to their advantage.

"City are a more attacking team and that can benefit us," he added.
