Brooklyn Beckham may leave Arsenal academy after failing to earn scholarship deal with Gunners

Brooklyn Beckham is set to be released by Arsenal after failing to earn a scholarship deal. It is unclear whether Brooklyn will look to find a new club following his release, which is expected to officially come at the end of the current campaign, reports the Daily Mail.

Brooklyn had only joined the Emirates ranks in recent years, meaning that he was always expected to be further behind the other lads in the academy.
He had posted a video to his Instagram showing signs that he was impressing with the Gunners, where a thunderous right-footed volley cannoned off the bar during an appearance for the club's under-16 side.
And that led to his call-up for the under-18s, where he rubbed shoulders with Ashley Maitland-Niles and Gedion Zelalem on the bench - both of whom have been selected in the Gunners first-team squad this season.
The 15-year-old was an unused substitute as the young Gunners beat Leicester 1-0, and was assigned squad number 14 - the number made famous by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
He was first pictured in an Arsenal training kit when he posted a photo of him and his team-mates in the changing room to his Instagram account at the end of January.
Brooklyn could focus on his modelling career following his release, after making appearances at the New York fashion week recently, as well as featuring in high-end fashion shoots.
Meanwhile, his father, David, was snapped in Liverpool watching his son Romeoscore in a 3-2 win for Arsenal academy.
