Pirlo: Pogba will make history.

The France international, 21, arrived in Turin on a Bosman free transfer in the summer of 2012 and has progressed into one of the highest-rated midfielders in the world en route to back-to-back Scudetti.

And Pirlo, who has partnered Pogba in midfield for two and a half years, has predicted greatness awaits the young Juve star should he continue progressing at his current rate.

"Pogba has never stopped improving," the veteran Italian told Telefoot. "He has everything to become a great player. If he keeps his head on his shoulders, he can mark history."

The Frenchman himself commented on the prestige of playing for Juventus and praised compatriot and team-mate Kingsley Coman, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain in 2014.

"I’m at a great club," Pogba said. "Juve are one the best clubs right now. Kingsley Coman has shown great maturity for someone who is only 18. He will impress you."

Coman, meanwhile, reiterated his desire to follow in the footsteps of Pogba at Juventus and the 18-year-old discussed the reasons behind leaving Laurent Blanc's Ligue 1 holders behind last year.

"When I talked to Juve, they told me that French players are always doing great here, a little bit like Brazilian players at PSG," he said.

"Juve are a great club, just like PSG, but Juve have a better history. They took Pogba as an example. He arrived at Juve at the same age as me and he succeeded. It convinced me."
